The Robert Wypasek Quartet, featuring Dominik Wania on piano, Max Mucha on double bass and Grzegorz Pałka on drums, has performed at Jazz Juniors and recorded two singles. A full-length album with the quartet has also been recorded and is forthcoming.

His current project, the Robert Wypasek International Group, brings together pianist Wes Georgiev (US), double bassist Alistair Peel (AU) and drummer Fabrizio Doberti (IT). The quartet has performed at Bird’s Eye in Basel and Blue Note in Poznań, and recorded a concert in collaboration with Polish Radio as part of the Klub Jazzowy Polskiego Radia series.

Wypasek’s discography includes more than ten albums, among them Orkiestra dnia poprzedniego – Mellomrom (2026), Nikola Kołodziejczyk Orchestra – Budyń o smaku Mickiewicza (2025), Horntet – Direct Message (2025), We do not pretend – We do not pretend (2024), Superminimalism – Prelude (2023), Horntet – Horntet (2023) and Paweł Mańka Semiotic Quintet – Kubizm (2021).

Across his work as a composer, leader and sideman, Wypasek is interested in the space between composition and improvisation, structure and spontaneity. His music leaves room for uncertainty and discovery, allowing each performance to become its own experience rather than simply a reproduction of a fixed idea.Born in 1999, Robert Wypasek is a Polish tenor and soprano saxophonist and composer.
